Glen Coe
Glen Coe needs no introduction. We stayed at the King's House Hotel. Luxury at the end of the holiday. By this time Grant was full-scale training for the Brighton Marathon in a week's time but Hermione and Duncan were content to start to take it easy. Really easy. All the same, we decided to squeeze one more mountain in. Since all the tourist brochures and local information point visitors up the Pap of Glencoe, we decided it must be very easy. This was a false impression. It was hard work getting to the top but rewarding.
We spent our evenings relaxing in front of the King's House, hanging out with the deer.
